KlarifTheReef
THE REEF RESTORATION PROJECT
Coral reefs, which are a vital ecosystem, support an estimated 25% of ocean species. They provide an important ecosystem for life underwater and protect coastal areas.
Coral reefs are currently thought to create between 50% and 80% of the world’s oxygen. This means they are more efficient than any tropical rainforest, which is also significant for maintaining the equilibrium and oxygenation of our atmosphere.
Without coral reefs, not only billions of sea species would suffer, but it would affect the livelihood of people, food source of people and affect the economy as well.
We’ve launched the KlarifTheReef, which is our coral reef restoration project to preserve and restore the biodiversity in our oceans. With the help of the local coastal community, we install special steel hexagon structures, where attached coral fragments start reproducing to restore reefs.
